First of all, the convention has been moved from Lowell to Worcester. Delegates, alternates, and party officials from across the Commonwealth will convene at the 2017 Convention to adopt a new Party platform. Caucuses have been hosted by local Democratic Town Committees and Democratic Ward Committees throughout the state – bringing together local registered Democrats to elect delegates and alternates. Each caucus is open to all registered and pre-registered Democrats residing in that particular town or ward. Delegates are divided equally between men and women, and all ballots will be written and secret.
