Jay Gonzalez - Democratic Candidate for Governor
Attorney Jay Gonzalez, the first Democrat to enter the 2018 race for the governorship, will speak in South Hadley on Friday March 24th to introduce himself, discuss his position on issues, and answer questions for the voting public. The event will be held at the South Hadley Public Library (2 Canal Street), beginning at 6:30p.m. This program is free and open to the public. It is hosted by the South Hadley Democratic Town Committee in conjunction with the Quabbin Area Democrats. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
Until recently, Mr Gonzalez served as CEO of the health insure CeltiCare and previously was the Massachusetts Secretary for Administration and Finance under Governor Deval Patrick. According to his website, Mr. Gonzalez " believes he has a vision for Massachusetts that Gov. Charlie Baker has not offered to voters"
